DESCRIPTION

Practice passing the ball out from the back with an opposing teams press in place.

COACHING POINTS

Player with the ball to successfully move the ball out from the back using the back 5. Back 5 to initially set then break up the press to support forward movement of the ball. Support the movement out of layer 1 into 2, can be used further up the pitch. The drill is Focused with the movement of the ball out wide and into a the channels. Attacking players to set the press, disturb the initial set up but allow the back 5 to move to receive the ball. Attackers may be represented with cones that are moved by the coach. gates can be used for the back 5 to target their movement.
