This drill is designed to maximize reps for our 5 to master the three motions we need: clear out to block, loop around to the free throw line, and pick 'n' roll.
This drill can be done at multiple baskets (up to 3). The faster this drill is run, the better because that means more repetitions between all ballhandlers and our 5s. Ideally, this drill will work 2.5 minutes one direction with the pick 'n' roll, 2.5 minutes the other direction with the pick 'n' roll, 2.5 minutes one direction with the clear out AND the loop, 2.5 minutes the other direction with the clear out AND the loop. The ballhandler should try multiple passes but focus primarily on fast bounce passes across the lane on the clear out, an overhead pass on the loop for a quick catch and shoot, and either type of pass on the pick 'n' roll. 5s should work on going up quickly with layups on the clear out and BOTH drives to the basket and pop-a-shots on the other two actions.
