Back 3 - Kick and chase vs Counter attack

DESCRIPTION

  1. Team with the ball passes the ball between the players lined- up.
  2. Depending on where the ball is, the back 3 in defence tilts around.
  3. Ball right side with blue, left winger red comes up to cover his attacker, 15 tilts to the left area behind the winger. The red winger on the right side covers the area of the full- back.
  4. Coach shouts kick, the the player in the line kicks. Back 3 receives.

COACHING POINTS

  1. Work rate off the ball.
  2. Read the kickers:
    - Left or right footed.
    - Long kick or not.
  3. Chase the kick, work together to shut down the counter attack.
