- 3 defenders will line up, all spaced 3 meters apart. The injured athlete will be positioned in the centre.
- The attacker will then make the decision to go to the left or the right of the injured athlete and if he goes to the right the injured athlete will perform a chop tackle whilst the outside defender will do a chest tackle and them same if he goes to the left.
- To progress this the injured athlete will switch position in the line so he can practice different tackle techniques from different positions.
