DESCRIPTION

  • Continuous drill to improve handling
  • set 4 cones up in L shape, 1 player starts on each
  • minimum twelve players needed for groups of 4
  • Players have to run straight or end up running out of room
  • Encourages players to have quick hands or end up running past next group
  • Size of grid can be increased depending on skill and improvement
  • Good warm up drill

COACHING POINTS

  1. Ball starts with one of outside players
  2. They run a couple of yards then pass to next player in support
  3. they also run straight and pass, and so on
  4. 4th player in group then pops ball to 1st/outside player of next group and repeat
