DESCRIPTION

SKILL FOCUS: Teamwork, agility and speed (communication).

 

EQUIPMENT: Frisbee & cones to mark the playing area (not necessary needed).

 

WHAT TO DO:

  • Divide the players into two teams (blue & red).
  • The teacher will start the game by throwing the Frisbee into the air.
  • The team that receive the Frisbee starts by playing normal touch rugby, passing the Frisbee only backwards, but try to run forward with it without being touch.
  • On the first touch they need to place the Frisbee on the ground and move backwards 5 m away where the other team can starts trying to score on the other side tries win

COACHING POINTS

You may change the frisbee with a tennis ball to focus on ball skills as well.
