In groups of 3 we will practice passing and catching
Stand in a diagonal line on cones and pass from first person to middle to third
When first person passes they have to run and swap with 3rd person. when 3rd person catches they run to the first cone.
Then swap out middle person so everyone gets a shot
Who know what direction a rugby ball needs to be passed?
When Passing ball - have two hands on ball around centre.
when passing hands should face the direction of the person you are passing to.
when passing don't want to make it too hard that it cant be caught or too soft that it wont reach the catcher
We want the pass to be in front of the catcher just above the waist
For the Catcher give the passer a target by getting hand reaching for ball
Hand wide in a W
Hand reaching towards the passer
