Description

Once a driving maul has been initiated and we have some go forward 8 will look to break off the back and feed 9 who will attack the 1st defender.

9 then has the following options:

• Hit 8 who is following back on the inside.
• A shoulder ball to the winger on 9's outside.
• Hit 12 who is taking a hard line between the 1st and 2nd defender.
• Hit 10 out the back of 12 to play wide.
