As a coach instruct the children to move like a certain animal. Get them to cover a distance of 10 metres moving like the animal of choice. EG. Tiger bounces, Flamingo runs, Dog walks, Crocodile slides, Penguin waddles, Hawk wings etc.
Purpose is to warm up the entire body through creative movement and stretching, ready for the main session to come.
Progress the drill and keep it fun by asking the kids to suggest and example their own animal choices.
Keep around a 1m gap between children child to prevent injuries / accidents.
