As Children arrive at the sports centre, they sign in and will be given a coloured bib, then are sent to sit within their own form designated area, awaiting to start.
At 10am sharp, welcome speech and then sent off to the Carousel of 8 areas to where they will play games and learn the fundamentals of playing rugby. Each area they will spend a maximum of 15 minutes. Sport leaders will run the games, core skill areas with teachers watching and assessing players ability, making notes throughout.
Core Skill Areas include Tackling, Rucking, 2v1 Decision making and Passing/Catching
Games - Rugby Netball, Two Touch, Overload Touch and Breakout.
