This is a standard 2-3 defense patern and how to actack it. The green areas represent the weak points of the zone, while the yellow are the strong. The ball begins at the top with the point guard and is passed out to either of the wing players. This has the effect of moving the 2-3 defense. When the ball is passed to the wing if the route is clear then take the 3 point shot.
