Hi Carie,
At this age I would expect you to begin to see developing skills.
1) Increasing the strength and accuracy of their passing
2) Few errors - there may be a few mistakes such as obstruction or an inaccurate pass but these should be kept minimal
3) Players should be aiming to land circle edge to be able to feed the shooting circle
4) The WA should be getting over the line each time for the centre pass
5) Mid-court players should use a range of ways to get free that are mostly successful
6) They should also have a quick transition from attack to defence, not simply waiting around
At this tender age, you should be looking for players who are showing signs of development and game sense. They should be aware of what is happening and engaged with the game for the full duration.
Hope this helps.

in more ways than one

Footwork is the foundation of every skill in netball. This guide provides a clear explanation of the stepping rule, the mechanics of one-foot and two-foot landings, pivoting technique, and progressive drills to build footwork confidence from junior level upward.
The early 'shoot from anywhere' era is over. Smart teams now use data-driven decision models to decide when the two-pointer is worth it.
