One of my players stalks every time she gets the ball, she doesn't have good balance, what drill apart from teaching her to slow down could I use.
Im assuming you mean stepping? and you have already identified why she is with your "she doesn`t have good balance". So that is what you need to correct. I bet her chest is down when she lands and her centre of gravity is forward and hence her stepping. So there is your first drill. without a ball run and take off on one foot and land facing you with her chest up. Ensure her feet are under or just outside her hip width, knees are slightly bent, her butt is slightly behind her (like in a high squat) and her chest and eyes are up. Get her to hold her landings. Do this exercise until she can run and a good speed, take off and land without stepping. Then add your pass in. If you want to take it even further, you can then add in a one foot landing and hold (without the ball) and then add the pass in. She must be able to catch and throw with just one foot so she is engaging her core strength. Once she is totally balanced then let her land on one and take a small step on the non grounded foot for support. Hope that fixes her prob.

Thank you this is very helpful.
