Any great tips for Goal Keeper position with regards to better positioning and defence?
A GK should always try to keep on their toes, to prevent the GS from setting up a holding position. Often a GS will try keep the GK high in the circle (towards the edge) and hold their back space, so the ball can be passed into the open space and they will be close to the post for an easy shot. However, if a GK has fast feet and keeps moving round their GS, it will prevent the GS from setting up this positioning.
Also, the GK should always try to maintain an open body position, so they can see the whole court and the ball coming through court. This combination of fast feet to reposition and maintaining an open body position, will enable the best chance of success.
