  • The aim of the drill is to develop the Bomb kick

Coaching points

  • Chest over hips on set up, strong position and extended arms

  • Kick through the Ball and keep square to target with a high follow


  • Emphasis on kicking low to high for height to get maximum hang time

  • Progression on this drill would be to make the kicker hit marked out targets on the pitch
