Mark out a square approx 15x15m and then split players into groups of 12 (where possible) and add 2 balls. The balls must start opposite to each other.
Players will recieve the ball from their left to start with.
Players need to be ready to recieve the ball at all times.
Players need to drive out to meet the ball - signally where you would like to recieve the ball.
Encourage players to land 1-2 release the ball.
Encourage players to communicate with one another throughout the whole practice - this will also help develop team cohesion.

Most club teams defend one-on-one and nothing else. A well-drilled zone gives you a second option, and against the right opponent it is the difference between chasing and controlling.
The backline pass is the most under-coached restart in netball. Get it right and you turn a dead ball into an attacking weapon before the opposition has reset.
July is the month that decides your season. Netball is not a steady jog - it is a string of short, sharp, repeated sprints with barely any recovery. Here is how to build a pre-season engine that still has legs in the final quarter.
