The defender is only allowed to move up and down the line as shown. The attacker can move anyway within the box to try and catch the ball.

2 on 1 Passing Drill:

Blue 1 and Blue 3 must try to exchange passes. White 1, the defender must try to intercept or deflect the pass.

Passing

Get Open Drill:

This is a pass and run to the back of the opposite line drill, with a v-cut movement before the pass.

Player 1 starts in the triple threat position whilst 2 makes a v cut.
Player 1 then passes the ball to player 2.
Player 2 fakes a pass to player 1 who now cuts towards the basket.
Player 3 (stood behind player 1) now v-cuts to the front of their line.
Player 2 passes the ball to player 3.
Player 4 (stood behind player 2) makes a v-cut to the front of their line.
Player 3 passes the ball to player 4.

Footwork and Movement

3 Man Weave 2 v 1:

3 Man weave down the court.
When players reach the halfway line, player with the ball places ball on the ground and becomes the defender.
The other two players pick up the ball and play out a 2v1.

2 v 1

2 v 1 Screening:

Setup as shown. Split the group into two with a further person starting on the cone as shown.

Player 1 passes the ball to player 2 before giving a handoff pass back to player 1. Player 2 then turns to make a screen, with player 3 making a run, then making a cut before receiving a pass from player 1 and shooting.
