2 v 2 Set up a few widely spaced cones. One team starts with the ball and player must pass to their team mate before attempting to score. Team scores one point when BOTH team members have received a pass and dribbled around a cone. Opponents try to tackle or intercept in order to gain possession then they can try to score in the same way.
Practise for marking and posting up, moving into space and spacial awareness. Allows players to practise general skills - passing, receiving, dribbling etc but do not know which cones to defend so must read players body positioning and movement. Change number and spacing of cones, number of players per team or relative numbers of attackers/defenders to change difficulty.
