Community | Dribble Island (with GK)

Gary Key Coach, England

DESCRIPTION

Setup: Mark out an island of cones/obstacles, and two ball stations marked by a cone. Procedure: Dribble your ball around the cones/obstacles. Coach calls out 2 players of similar ability, who must attack goal, shoot, collect a new ball and return to island. First player back wins. Variations: Call out girls / boys / U8s / U12s / people wearing red etc. Note: If you've got different balls for different age groups, you'll need some of each type of ball at the stations. You can decide whether or not to emphasise the duel/race aspect of it.
