Setup: Area: 15m x 15m grid. Players: 3 attackers, 1 defender, and 1 passer outside the grid. Activity: Attackers practice using J-leads and L-leads to create space and receive passes. The defender applies light pressure, trying to block the passing lanes. The passer alternates delivering to different attackers. Adaptations: Simpler: Remove the defender. More Difficult: Add a second defender or reduce the grid size.
Coaching Points: J-Lead: Curve your movement, starting away from the ball and then cutting sharply toward it. L-Lead: Move laterally to pull the defender before cutting forward to receive. Timing and communication are critical.
