Social Distance: Individual Skill practice/competition

DESCRIPTION

Players compete in pairs or teams for individual skills.  Winners pick fitness exercise other player/team completes (exp. 10 push-ups).  

Compete: 

  1. Air dribble
  2. Balance ball on stick for walking distance 
  3. Air dribble for walking distance 
  4. Sprint around 4 cones (w/ ball and w/out ball. 
  5. Pass/lift/hit ball to target (closest to target wins). 
  6. Straight Sprint from race (w/ and w/out ball) 

Practice: 

  • Fakes 
  • Spins 
  • pulls 
  • Lunge pulls 
  • Move at each cone 
  • Dribble 
  • Pass to target 
  • Lift to target 
  • Air dribble/ balance 
  • 3 D Dribble 
  • Fitness 

COACHING POINTS

  • Play at game speed
