Normal match on any size field, but with a wide gate (red cones) on the centre line.
1st half: ball must be passed OUTSIDE the gate. Encourages inside > outside lead runs in the midfield.
2nd half: ball must be passed THROUGH the gate. Encourages outside > inside runs in midfield.
- L+R defenders/midfielders/attackers create the lead runs and triangular passes. Central players act as the pivots for transfer.
- Anticipate the pass by creating space using a leading run.
- Give & go - continuous support moving up the field.
