Warm up: We have 4 groups (4 teams), and each group have 5 kids. The kids are standing behind each other in a line.
We have 6 parts in drill:
- 3 without ball and 3 parts with a balls.
- 20 kids, 8 basketballs in this case.
Warm up drill: the first kid in each group needs to be ready and wait for a coah sign. When the coach gives the sign or blow the wistle:
1) The kids in first line in the groups will run to the first cone and run one circle around it, and continue to run to the other 3 cones and do the same. After 4th cone they will run to the base line. When kids from first line finish with cone number 1, next kids from second line in groups can go! The last kid in line of the groups will do 5 squats.
2) Run to the first cone and do 1 squat and jump (in combination). After that run to the next cone and repeat, and when are finish with 4th cone, they will run back to the base line. When kids from first line finish with cone number 1, next kids can go! The last kid in line of groups will do 5 squats.
3) Run to the first cone and stop and start to do scissor steps, when the coach blow the wistle again they will continue to the next cone and start to do the same, next kids in second line will also run to the cone number 1 when first kids from first line finish with cone 1 (only in this 3rd part they will do the exercise and wait the coach give them sign to continue to the next cone.
In this part we dont have the last kid, so no squats.
4) Now coach will give them 2 balls each group. So they will make dribble to the first cone. They will stop (stop with running but not stop with dribble) and make dribble with right hand around the cone, after that they will run (dribble) to the next cone and they will stop and make dribble around the cone with left hand (3th cone with right hand and 4th cone with left hand). When they finish with last cone (4th cone) they will dribble back to the base line. The last kid in line of groups will do 5 squats.
5) Dribble to the first cone and stop (but not stop with dribble) knock down the cone and run (dribble) to the next cone and also knock down the next cone. When they finish with last cone (4th cone), they will run (dribble) back to the base line.
Next kid in the groups line will start to the same after the first kids finish with first cone - dribble to the cone but he will move the cone UP and continue to the next cone.The last kid in line of groups will do 5 squats.
6) Dribble to the first cone and make crossover and knock down the cone and go to the next cone, do the same. When they finish with 4th cone they will dribble back to the base line. Next kids will make dribble to the first cone when kids from first in line of 5 groups finish with cone number 1 and they will make crossover and pick the coin up and continue. (dont stop with dribble) Only they can stop with dribble when they finish all cones and come back to the base line. The last kid in line of groups will do 5 squats.
Rules: who is the last one, that kid will do 5 squats. Accept 3rd part.
Try to be faster then other kids and warm up your body with motorical, basketball exercise.
