What would you consider to be a good 15min warm up before a game in limited space for 11 year olds?
(1) 5 minutes - jogging, high knees, grapevine, bum kicks, skips, fast feet, backwards running etc. (2) 5 minutes dynamic stretching - arm swings, leg swings, squats, torso twists, arm reaches, (3) 5 minutes passing routine suitable for small space e.g. short pings, train tracks, four corners in a small sqaure. If the space is too limited for running or passing a ball most of the activities in 1 & 2 can be done on the spot or in a very small area. You only need to warm their muscles up for safety reasons rather than raise their heart rates ready for full on competition.

Its not really a game but I get my U11`s line up on the base line and only using one third of a netball. I get them to do run throughs of side stepping, high knees, bum kicks, great vine, sprinting and many more. Or you could split a third into thirds (if that makes sense) and play ship, shark, shore.
I would look at a dynamic running warm up first e.g running, high knees, lunges , then work in pairs to warm up passes e.g just passing chest passes to each other and bounce passes.\
Then i would look at the straight line drill e.g 2 lines faces each other, running one at a time towards the other line while receiving the ball from the person who is facing them, pass it off to the line they are facing , then join the opposite line.
Then try 4 corners, this is where you have 4 corners of players and 2 players from opposite corner run through to the opposite corner and receive the ball from the left corner and then pass straight on ( for 11yr olds I would make them stop with the ball). Then the other 2 corners who passed the ball now run to the opposite corner and receive the ball from their left. (great drill for small spaces)
Hope this helps
