coaching adults is a difficult job, as either you have players who just want to play and have fun, others who dont have a clue and need all the help they can get, and those who think they are trying out for the aus team. best bet is to meet for a social drink, or gathering to just get to know each other, find out what everyone wants to get out of the game, and if they are just there for fun and fitness, or to be competitive. offer to help out those who wish to train, or hone their skills, and let those who dont wish to do their own thing. or even ask those good players to help out those who are struggling. as for tightening up their ability to get down the couts, just remind them to spread out, and to move the ball into an open space, and not to a stationary player. but my guess is, they just want to have fun, so either train by playing games against other teams, or let them learn as they play their matches. adults tend to learn more by doing. good luck with it.
