A twist on stuck in the mud with hockey rules
A number of taggers in each group of approx 10-12. Start with 1 and increase as needed. Each coloured area (1/4 pitch) is a game zone. if you are tagged while not in possession, you are stuck in the mud and can only move again when you get possession of the ball. You cannot move more than 1 step to stop the ball. If you are tagged while carrying the ball, you are out of the game and either become a tagger or wait to rejoin. Coaching points - donât get caught in possession. When off the ball look for space. How to work the ball away from a person stuck in the mud to allow a pass to be made to them.
