Community | Continuous scoring/Rebounds and clearing

Catherine van Eyk Coach, South Africa

DESCRIPTION

There is a 3 vs 2, the attackingteam continue to shoot and attempt to score until the defenders get the ball out of the D. If the attacking team score, the goal-keeper clears the balls and the attackers can try to pick it up again and continue. The defenders must try and get the ball out of the D as quickly as they can, only they have done that the next attcking team gets ready to attack and the first group fall out. The sinner is the attacking team to gets the most goals in one session ro the defending team that clears the most balls.

COACHING POINTS

This works on fitness (especially for the defenders), keeps a very high intensity for the goal-keeper and encourages hunger form the attakers to keep going for the rebounds and not wathing the ball be cleared out by the goal-keeper.
