DESCRIPTION

RAIL D execution

Trigger for press, distributor picks ball up and passes to Penetrator

COACHING POINTS

  • Rock eyes on 9 for ball up then comms PRESS (must move forward)
  • action comes up hard to shut 9, needs to react if ball passed and 9 is no longer threat
  • action, next role is to isolate attack inside support
  • Eyes reacts off action linespeed aligning outside shoulder of 1
  • Lead react off eyes with fast linespeed up on 2 attacker aligning Outside shoulder
  • plus 1 aligned off outside shoulder of 3rd attacker, holding slightly back from Lead in case of late foot work form 3 for inside/outside space.
  • ball has passed eyes so player hinges and CHOPS 2 attacker, supporting lead on tackle
  • Plus 1 comes up slightly behind lead and make a decision to tackle 3 attacker
  • far ROCK folds around to link and stay connected to D System
