DESCRIPTION

  • 7 - 10m wide channel with 3 cones each side, about 5m apart.
  • Players each start on a cone on one side of the channel.
  • Ball is passed from one end to the other
  • First passer becomes defender and enters at his end of the channel
  • Other two become attackers and enter channel from other end
  • Two must beat one with running and effective passing

COACHING POINTS

  • Alternate sides of the grid to ensure passing from both sides
  • Carrier must "fix" the defender before passing, i.e. try not to let the defender fade off towards the receiver
