Exercise 1 - attacker and defender start in the far half. Attacker is looking to call for the ball, receive and turn the defender to pass to team mate.
Defender is looking to use the long pass opportunity to intercept in front of the attacker.
Exercise 2 - Attacker starts with the ball. They carry the ball into the central zone where the are looking to complete a 1-2 with left or right team-mate.
They then should make an accurate long pass through a gate to a team mate.
Exercise 1 - make this exercise about the interception and it should encourage the attackers to work out why they need to post up.
