Exercise 1 - Tip ins with the ball cannon.
The trainer will give balls using the ball cannon for the players who will tip the ball in. After they tip the ball in they will run through both speed ladders, this is for two things 1. to keep them busy while they wait. 2. To keep them away from the dangerous balls.
Exercise 2 - "The chop".
Here a player will pass the ball to another player waiting in the square, they will receive the ball and then turnaround and then score with a chop, the idea is that they hit on top of the ball which will bounce it from the ground creating lift and making it very hard for the keeper to anticipate the ball.
Exercise 3 - Hitting the ball on the volley.
The children will firstly pass the ball a couple of times then they will drive into the circle and score with a forehand after the trainer will throw a new ball in and the same player will hit the ball on the volley. The grip for hitting on the volley should be the same as push passing, they should not be hitting like a baseball bat.
