Ball must go into one or both sideline zones before a goal can be scored.
Encouraging players to play the ball wide and to pass across the pitch into space
Consider additional rules e.g. ball must be in the sideline zone inside the D before goal can be scored, no forward passes from the sideline zone, ball must be touched by at least three team members before scoring etc.
