DESCRIPTION

Goal:
* teach the frontal stop

 

Exercise A

* couples, 1 ball, 1 on back line, 1 on 3 m line. 

* show how to trap the ball + how exercise goes.

* - 1 plays to 2
   - 2 traps ball + KICKS balll back
      with RIGHT FOOT to 1.
    - 1 traps that kicked ball from 2
       and plays ball again to 2 etc.
    - on your sign change roles. Then
      1 kicks after his trap. 

Variation:
* both trap + kick

FRONTAL STOP

General
The frontal stop is the basic trap for bubbly balls as well as the fastest trap who leads into dribbling. 

The skill

* 2 hands apart, double V grip

* Feet running position: Left foot in front, right feet behind, shoulder width

* Body behind the ball (with mistrap you can stop ball with your body)

* Stop ball in front of right foot,

* make a roof with your stick (push left hand away from you )

Metaphors: stand like a warrior // go to the loo and halfway stop
