DESCRIPTION

Goal:
getting idea of the basic skills /game awareness

Overview training: 
15 min dribbling, exercise nr 1 
15 min trapping/passing exercise 2 
15 min end game 

Exercise 1
Goal: grip + basic dribbling position

  • 2 pp at each corner, both ball
  • dribbling around cones only with FH. When nr 1 comes back nr 2 already starts 
  • 3 min practice, then relay!! 
  • same exc, only FH-BH. 3 min practice then relay!
  • Last relay : 1 person dribble cone, other 1 handed dribble FH- BH big square.

 

Exercise 2

  • 2nd cone to other side of the line
  • 2 pp + 1 ball
  • pass through the gates to diagonal cone.
  • Nr A passes FH, Nr B BH. Way back automatically swap
  • Practice than relay form 

COACHING POINTS

Exercise 1 Focus:

  1. Double V grip 
  2. left elbow lose from body
  3. stick 45 angle with ground = stick /arm 1 total straight line 

 

Exercise 2 General :
Ball stays on your stick the whole time. Gewing gum!! 

Trapping:

  1. ball from right = stop at your right foot, left hand out
  2. ball from left= stop in front of you. 

Exercise 2 : Passing

  1. Pass to left = bring ball to left foot and pass
  2. Pass to right = from dribbling postion with BH pass
