Each player stands on either side of a "gate". They must pass the ball to their partner, through the gate. Every time 5 passes are made successfully, the pair can take two steps back from the gate. Push pass, sweep pass, hit, reverse.
Focus - Passing technique and accuracy. Stopping technique. Awareness of their partners location.
LA variation - Make the gate larger. Take one step back each time to make the passing distance a more gradual increase. Only cover push hit passes.
HA variation - Make the gate smaller. Give each player a cone to dribble around before they have to pass the ball to their partner. Coach reverse and sweep passes.
