DESCRIPTION

  • Setup the practice as shown.

    • The players line up with a set of cones 10m away. The players have to push the ball in front of them and are only allowed to control the ball in the box.

    Dribble then Gate Pass | Passing & Receiving

    Dribble then Gate Pass:

    White Player 1 dribbles with the ball to the blue cone before passing the ball through the red gates.

    Red player 1 receives the ball once it has gone through the gate and then repeats the practice in the opposite direction.

    Ball into Space | Passing & Receiving

    Ball into Space:

    Player 1 runs into the space to receive the ball from player 2 who:

    1. Can hit or push the ball
    2. Can give an aerial ball into the space.

    The player looking to receive the ball then runs into the circle and shoots.

    All the Way Across | Passing & Receiving

    All the Way Across:

    Teams of 4 try and pass the ball across the pitch as quickly as possible, not missing any players out.

    Each player should at least touch the ball twice. The first team to pass the ball 10 times across the pitch is the winner.

    First touch | Passing & Receiving

    First touch:

    Set up as shown 10m long by 6m. (Place cones at each end.

    Player 1 pushes the ball through the cones. Player 2 receives the pass and with their 1st touch puts ball to the right of the right cone and then pushes the ball through the opposite cones.

    Player 1 receives and with their 1st touch puts the ball to the right of the right cone and repeats.
