DESCRIPTION

1 attacker v 1 defender. Defender starts with ball and passes to attacker. Attacker tries to move around defender. Defender focuses on low body positioning and keeping stick low to: - block attacker getting through - pushing the player wide

COACHING POINTS

Defender engages as far away from attacker/start line as possible. Defender must adopt a low body position and be side on to protect their feet from the ball.
