Set number cones on one side of the room and have kids stand behind the cone. Set the same number cones on the other side of the room. Have parent of child stand across them on the other side of the room. Parents are given 4 small colour cones each. Parents hold on to the basketballs. On the whistle kids must run to their parent whilst parents holding the ball out kids must push the ball performing a bounce and must complete 5 bounces. Once completed parent gives one small cone to player and player must take small cone to their starting number cone. Whichever team finishes first WINS!
Remind players to push the ball down using their finger pads. Instead of slapping we want the children to understand that we have to push the ball in order for it to come back up Have parents support their children and have fun with it.
