DESCRIPTION

4 attackers start the first attacker to take the ball into contact and set the ball up. 

 

ball to be passed down the line concentrating on good clean passing and catching.

The outside player then goes into contact looking to offload the ball quickly, this requires team mates to support in formation and be ready to pass down the line again switching the play.

Rotate players and do it again untill all players have moved down the line to score a try.

COACHING POINTS

Hand catch

. Hands out in the ready position, with palms facing the ball and thumbs together

. Catch the ball in their hands _ not on the stomach

. Ball remains off the shirt _ catch and pass in one movement

Off load

. Avoid head-on tackles _ try to dodge the defender first

. Two hands on the ball

. If tackled _ drive the legs to keep moving forward and look for support . Pass to a support runner coming onto the ball at pace Ball

Presentation
