Short Corners

Great site. An absolute must for coaches who are willing to change...

DESCRIPTION

Short corners are taken after a foul has been committed by the defending team within their own D. 2 things must now take place:

1) The defenders must have a maximum of 4 players & a goalkeeper inside the goal, behind the line. The keeper will watch the ball play and shout "Out" when the ball is played. The defenders then will send the front 2 players out to attack the ball whilst the other 2 defend the goal behind the keeper stopping the ball coming in from the sides. The keeper will move out of the immediate goal area to stop any shots.

2) the attackers will have 1 player 'Insert' from the backline to a plyer outside the D. Once the ball has been received outside the D it can then be brought back inside and a shot taken on goal.
