Small teams in fairly large space - want to give time and space on the ball.
1. Teams score through dedicated scoring zones spread aroung the area. Keep ball after scoring [variation - pass/carry through gate]
2. Game with opposite corner scoring. Teams can score in either of the goals of their colour. Score by carrying through gate and leave the ball for the other team.
[variation - a) must have x number of players in each half b) move goals again so both red are same end]
ADD BONUS POINTS SCORING [ supervise one game at a time and keep score with clicker-counter. Will need to do this to keep them interested!] - examples:
- ask them what they need to improve (e.g. communication) and give a bonus point at the end for the best team showing that improvement.
- 5 passes
- two touch passing
- 3d skills
- v drags
- finding feet?!
1. Encourage players to identify where the space is and play in 360 to switch play. RED/AMBER/GREEN
2. Encourage the use of the pivot player to keep possession and reset attacks. Impose restrictions: 3 touches each, or every 3rd pass must go backwards
