Playing area is split into 4 quarters with 2 teams of 4.
The goal is to stop the ball on the opponants baseline.
One team (red) has two players on the left and two on the right (not able to cross a vertical centre line).
The other team (blue) has two players forward and two players back (not able to cross the half way line).
- If the team scores the other team takes a free hit from the baseline (red team will be able to set a high press).
Progressions:
- Scoring team retains the ball and attacks the other end
Main objective is to move the ball in triangles. Always givine a team mate 2 options to pass to. Players will need to play with their head up to identify where the free players are.
- Allow breaks for teams to talk together to work out where their advantages are.
- Blue team will be able to create overloads by quickly by supporting eachother to create trangles in the left and right areas.
- Red team will be able to move all of their players into an attacking or defensive zones to create attacking or defensive overloads.
- Blue team will have the opportunity to move the ball quickly on the break if the reds have pushed forward.
- Red team will be able to hunt in packs to win back posession.
