A simple ball movemnt drill to change the point of attack and open up 3 options from attcking down the wing.
As the player runs the ball down the wing they are looking for the best of 3 options (Red, Orange or Blue Hats).
+++ biggest point here is the leading should be done as speed with purpose +++
- the player leading to the orange hat should be looking for a single touch declection
- the player leading towards the red hat should be shooting as early as possible from the edge of the circle.
- the final player should be looking to link with the other 2 strikers to create a 2 or 3 on 1 with the goalie.
- Attacker leading should be timed so they a pass is recieved on the run not standing still.
- once the general movement of the drill is understood. up to two defenders can be placed inside the cirlce to pressure the ball carrier to find the best of the 3 options.
