5 players are involved in this drill. Set up a box that is 5x7. you will have 2 passers 15yds away on both sides of the box. passers will be roughly 7yds apart on different leves. Passers will pass back and forth (only a couple times) while 1 player in the box pops on an angle to receive. Once ball is passed (should be a quick hit, sweep, or hard push) that player will receive and either release right away to the other set of passers or receive and go on an angle then pass. Each player in the middle will receive 5 passes before switching.
Timing is everything. Looking before you receive as a passer as well as moving to create different lines. Player in the middle needs to focus on sharp movements and explosive cuts. We want to avoid drifting straight ahead.
