Goal:
* learning to go to the ball to do block tackle + reason why
Exercise
* 2 groups each turf
* 1 player in goal, 1 on midline on both turfs
* as trainer you play ball to pp on midline. Both players stay on own turf and try to score in the goal.
* player in goal can start defending when you as trainer play the ball.
NB what you will see is that most kids will stay in the goal => learn them why to get to the ball.
BLOCK TACKLE
Reason why you always go to the ball to defend:
with every step you take to the ball, you become more and more a giant for the opponent. Which makes them nervous and you will be hard to get around.
(NB it's really powerful to show kids this as well with yourself stepping toward them)

The Skill
* V grip
* hands apart to be strong
* 1 feet forward, 1 feet backwards (running feet to go quickly forward, backwards + be able to push hard)
* HOLD STICK STILL + take ball with the shaft and push (= making yourself big and longer)
