Goal: dribbling position
Focus:
a) grip
b) left arm/stick 1 straight line= ball far away from feet.
c) left elbow out
Excercise: dribbling with added task
* all players ball and dribbling in circle
* they dribble and perform task if you give the signal.
Tasks:
1. when you encouter some-one, you look at him while dribbling and say " Hi + his name". After 1.5 min make a game out of it: Who is first to greet all players?
2. when you encounter some-one- you take over his stick and ball and dribble further. You can't stand still!! practice + game time : Who is first to have had all the sticks and has his one back?
3. Dribble and if you encounter some one, than play through his " hole" in his stick (distance between feet + ball) . Also game at end
4. they dribble and have 5 points. If you say cone A (or cone B) they have to dribble to that cone. Players who don't have a cone lose 1 point and are on 4 etc. (musical chair idea). NB players who let go of ball are disqualified.
Dribbling
* double V grip
* bent knees, back straight.
* stick 45 degrees with ground, thus left arm + stick 1 straight line, bal far away from feet (playing ground to do things with ball)
* left elbow loose from body
