25m zone attack/defence drill. Can be used for 3vs3 and higher. Coach takes several sideline and long corner/25m pass scenarios from the three lines. A goal or 'deadball' indicates a rapid reset into positions to receive the next line pass. After all the balls have been played, they are set up again and teams swap attack/defence roles.
Focus is on covering/marking players, running into space to receive a pass and testing knowledge of possible plays and sequences for success. Quick taking of new pass provides practice in resetting under pressure. Great for explaining the mind games involved with deceiving opposition.
