Shooting top D from different angles
Set up at each end of pitch.
3 lines of players on 25 line. Put cones down to mark where players should stand.
Player on left dribbles and shoots, then central player, then right player. Continue in this order until no balls left then ball collect.
Players move onto next line once they have had a strike: left to centre to right to left etc.
Progression:
Introduce 1 defender
Introduce elimination skill
1 player strikes while other 2 go in for deflection
Technical:
Ball carry position
Preparing to shoot: cross-over step, shot at top of D
Clip-hit: hands together ½ way down stick
Elimination skills: V-drag, 3D skills, drive defender’s left foot space
Attacker should not turn their back on the defender.
