The players are working on moving towards the ball to receive it, and then receiving it on the move in a dynamic way (not stationary).
The players must receive the ball in front of the middle cones and then use a skill to get around the cones before passing to ball on the the next player.
Depending on skill level, the coach can instruct players to receive the ball in a specific way (receive and arc, or receive past right foot and right dodge etc.). Or the players can receive in different ways on their own depending on what they want to work on.
Keep the motion flowing (no stationary movements).
Depending on the skill, keep an eye on the footwork and encourage an open body position to be able to react quickly to incoming tackles (game related).
