This session is designed to get your players learning more about basic team structure and positioning on the pitch.
To promote positive positional passing play amongst your players this session gradually builds up, from unopposed practices to semi-opposed - starting with some highly structured drills to reinforce players' on pitch positioning and finishing with two open games to find out if your players can still stick to positioning movement within a game structure.
By the end of this session you should find that your players are more confident when moving the ball from back to attack, holding their positions and making more attacking runs to offer passing options.
